Tenant Insurance
What is this?
Tenant Insurance is a policy which is intended to meet the cost of replacing the value of your possessions which have become damaged, stolen or lost while you have been a rent-paying tenant.
Who is it for?
These policies are only available to tenants and, usually, only for possessions kept within the tenanted property. It is available also to students in private rented accommodation and in Halls of Residence.
Who is it not for?
The policy cannot normally be used to protect guests possessions, though Guest Houses and Hotels may be able to obtain cover under public and professional liability policies.
