Asset Finance
What is this?
This is a form of Commercial Loan. Generally, it is a loan that is secured on an ‘asset’ other than a property (building or land). Asset Finance can be secured on Works of Art, machinery, bar fittings, furniture, vehicles, etc. It can be a convenient way of releasing funds to cover short-term needs or it could offer a longer term solution. In effect, it a reverse lease. When leasing equipment that is owned by a third party, the user pays for the privilege of using it. With Asset Finance, you retain the ownership but release some of its value.
Who is it for?
Asset Finance is used by business owners who are looking to release funds and may not have sufficient equity in their commercial property or in their private property. They may also prefer not to use these properties as security for the loan or take out personal loans
Who is it not for?
Asset Finance is not available for people without commercial assets .
